A small Japanese style nuru house on Sukhumvit Soi 22. Warm gel, private rooms with their own shower, and therapists who take their time. We do one thing, and we do it properly.
Nuru began in Japan, and the name simply means slippery. The gel is made from seaweed extract. It is clear, odourless and completely tasteless, and we warm it to body temperature before a single drop touches your skin, so there is never a cold shock.
Once the gel is on, friction disappears. Your therapist uses her hands, her forearms and the full length of her body to glide over yours on the nuru mattress. It is the closest thing to weightless contact you can feel with your clothes off, and it is the reason people come back.
At Miki we keep the technique Japanese and let the warmth be Thai. Every therapist is trained in house on the traditional sequence first, then encouraged to bring her own feel to it.
You do not need a flight to Osaka for a real nuru session. Only a handful of houses in Bangkok run authentic nuru, and Soi 22 now has one of them. If you have only ever had oil or Thai massage, this is a different category altogether.
Sessions begin with a shower together, so both of you start clean and relaxed. The gel goes on generously, and from there it is body to body for the whole session. Come to unwind after a long working day, or make it the highlight of a few nights in town.
We are open until midnight every day, which makes us easy to fit around dinner on Soi 22 or a late finish anywhere along Sukhumvit.

Questions
A full body massage using warm, slippery gel made from seaweed extract. Instead of only hands, your therapist uses her whole body to glide over yours on a waterproof mattress. The gel removes friction completely, which is what makes it feel so different from oil massage.
Standard rooms start at 2,500 THB for 40 minutes and 2,900 THB for 60 minutes. Nuru promotion is 3,200 THB for 60 minutes and 3,700 THB for 80 minutes. Jacuzzi rooms are 3,700 THB for 60 minutes and 4,200 THB for 80 minutes. A VIP room adds 500 THB. The 2 ladies package is 8,000 THB for 90 minutes on the opening offer.
You are shown to a private room, then you and your therapist shower together to warm up and get clean. Warm gel is applied generously, and the body to body work runs for the length you booked. Afterwards you shower again and take your time getting dressed. Towels and a drink are included.

Not strictly, walk ins are welcome whenever a room is free. That said, jacuzzi rooms and the 2 ladies package tend to go early in the evening, so booking on LINE a few hours ahead is the safer move.
Yes, if the room and your therapist are free afterwards. Just say so during the session and reception will add the time at the standard rate.
Mattress covers, towels and linens are changed between every guest. Rooms are cleaned after each session and the gel is mixed fresh, single use. Every room has its own shower so nothing is shared.
Yes. Couples are welcome in the jacuzzi and VIP rooms. Message us on LINE first so we can set the room up properly and quote you the right price.
We are at 443 Sukhumvit Alley 22, Khlong Tan, Khlong Toei. It is roughly a 10 minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong, because we sit well down the soi rather than up by Sukhumvit Road, so most guests take a taxi or a motorbike in from the main road. Send us a LINE message when you turn into the soi and we will walk you the last stretch.
